This concert will include all three bands: Winds 1, Winds 2, and the Symphonic Band. It will feature music of the season as well as traditional concert selections. The west gym is usually pretty crowded for this event. Come early if you want a particular seat.

These books will be available for sale prior to the winter concert. They contain several hundred "2 for 1" or other promotional coupons for areas restaurants. Cost is $30 and $10 goes to the band boosters. Additional information is here.

Kroger has made available special re-usable gift cards. For any purchase made with these gift cards, 5% is returned to the band boosters. You can add money at anytime at Kroger's service desk. These cards will be available prior to the winter concert. Additional information is here.

We record the concerts and make them available on CDs. At the winter concert, you can pre-order your CD. Cost is $10.00.

Each student participating in the Florida trip must submit a notarized medical form. A blank medical form is here. Complete the form and bring it unsigned to the winter concert. We will have notaries available to notarize the form for you.

It is not necessary for the students to bring their uniforms to the Winter Concert for inspection. This is a change from what was included on the November 27 weekly band schedule that Mr. Tallman distributed. Please be sure the uniform is complete and in good shape. We will not have trailers in Florida and it will not be possible to conduct emergency repairs.

Students going on the Florida trip will have an evening rehearsal from 7:30 pm - 9:15 pm. If necessary, there may be a second evening rehearsal on Monday, December 18th, from 8:15 pm - 9:15 pm.

Call time is 6:00 pm for students assigned to play in Pep Band "B" at this boys' basketball game.

This will be in the west gym at 7:30 pm.

 

An alumni reception will be held prior to the Jan 6th game.

This meeting will be at 7:00 pm in the band room. All parents are welcome to attend and learn more about upcoming activities that help all students in our band programs.
