Dear WCHS Band Parents,
This is the first Band Booster e-mail newsletter of the year. It is being sent to all parents
that have given us an e-mail address. If we have an incorrect e-mail address, please let us know and we will make the corrections.

We hope you enjoyed the parents' night performance. It looks like Mr. Tallman and Miss Theis have
planned a great show for this year. If you would like to purchase a 2007 band t-shirt or other music related items, please
stop by the band spirit wear booth at any home football game.
There are many pictures from band camp and the parents' show on our picture website, http://www.imageevent.com/wchsband. Feel free to download full-size copies for your own use or sharing with others.
Since the band does not yet have access to the football field, there
will be no 8:50 Run Through on Thursday, August 23. The first 8:50 Run Through will happen on Tuesday, September 4th. What
is an "8:50 Run Through?" Weather permitting, the band will run through the entire show at 8:50 pm. To provide a more realistic
setting of performing in front of a crowd, all parents and friends are invited to attend, cheer, and even offer their comments
about the show. We look forward to see you there.
There will be a WCHS Marching Panther Invitational planning meeting on Thursday, August 23th at
6:45 pm. If you would like to help with the planning or serve as a committee chair, please come join us. The room location
will be posted on the door leading up to the band room. There are still a few commitee chair positions we need to fill. We
have people with experience that will help get you started. Hope to see you at the meeting!
Finally, the Boosters are selling $5.00 signature ads for the WCHS Marching Panther Invitational.
