Dining Tour Unlimited Books
These books contain several hundred "2 for 1" or other promotional coupons for area restaurants. Cost is $30
and $10 goes to the band boosters. Additional information is here.
Kroger Gift Cards
Kroger has made available special re-usable gift cards. For any purchase made with these gift cards, 5% is returned
to the Band Boosters. You can add money at anytime at Kroger's service desk. Additional information is here.
Pep Bands, Dec 11 and Dec 14
Pep band "A" will perform at the girls' basketball game on Tuesday, Dec. 11. Pep band "B" will perform
at the boys' basketball game on Friday, Dec. 14. Call time for both days is 6:00 pm. Performances start after the conclusion
of the sophomore games, appr. 7:00 pm.
Booster Social Outing, Dec 14
After the boys' basketball game on Dec 14, all Boosters are invited to a social outing at The Blend, the new coffee shop located between Uftring's Used Car Outlet and Russell's Cycle and Fitness Center. Plenty of parking
available in Russell's lot. Come to the game to cheer on our Panthers and enjoy the band! Then stop by The Blend and spend a little time with your fellow Boosters.
Winter Band Concert, Dec 16, 2:30 pm
This concert will include all three bands: Winds 1, Winds 2, and the Symphonic Band. It will be their first performances
in the new auditorium at Five Points Washington. The bands will play music of the season as well as traditional concert selections. This event is one of our
most crowded concerts. Come early if you want a particular seat. Doors open at 2:00 pm. No charge for admission.
Winter Jazz Concert, Dec 17, 7:30 pm
The jazz program was expanded this year into two bands, Jazz Ensemble and
Jazz Machine. These bands will present some great holiday jazz as well as jazz favorites on Monday, December 17, at 7:30 pm.
This concert is also at Five Points Washington. Doors open at 7:00 pm. No charge for admission.
Band Retreats, Jan 5
A special workshop and band retreat will be held for each band. These sessions provide a great opportunity
for the students to learn from some talented guest conductors. Check the band schedule for specific times (available after Dec 12th).
Alumni Pep Band, Jan 5
WCHS alumni are invited to join the pep band on Saturday, Jan 5th. This will be a girls'
basketball game vs. Morton.
Band Boosters Meeting, Jan 7
This meeting will be at 7:00 pm in the band room. All parents are welcome to attend and learn more about upcoming
activities that help all students in our band programs.
