Booster Meeting Rescheduled to April 28
Due to a conflict with the Jazz Band's performance at Sunnyland Christian Church, the next Band Booster
meeting will be on Monday, April 28, at 7:00 pm in the band room.

Elections for 2008 – 09
Band Booster officers will be held at the Band Booster meeting on Monday, April 28, If have any questions about running
for a position (President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer) please contact Steve Mellican at spmellican@comcast.net or 309-363-1282 (cell). We are especially
in need of experienced individuals to assume the president and vice president positions. We welcome parents of younger
band students to become more involved and fill the shoes of parents who are “graduating” with their seniors.
Chaperones Needed for
May 3rd
Chaperones are needed for the
trip that Winds I will make to the University of Illinois in order to participate in the Super State
Band Festival. Busses will leave approximately 7 a.m. and return at 8 p.m. Please contact Angie Wilson, 444-5308, if you can help. This trips takes place on Saturday,
May 3rd. The original date was incorrectly listed as May 1.

The
Band Boosters are producing a highlight DVD which covers many of the band’s events from this year. Cost is $10 each.

Kroger Gift Cards
Last but not least….the
Kroger Gift Card Fundraising program has been very successful this year. Many thanks to all who are participating! If you
are having trouble with your card because it is wearing out, please contact Gail Petravick (gailp@bradley.edu) or at 444-8878 and she will order you a new card. If you want to join the program,
call Gail. The Band gets 5% of our purchases from Kroger and it costs you nothing extra to participate.
