Dear Fellow Band Boosters,
Please consider volunteering to help the WCHS Band
Boosters with our biggest event, the Marching Panther Invitational on September 12, 2009. On that day we will host approximately
18 bands in a parade and field competition. The invitational’s profits help us support many needs for all WCHS bands
(marching, concert, and jazz) that are not covered by the high school budget, e.g., instruments, music rights, camp scholarships,
and guest clinicians.
This year, like previous years, we need approximately
200 volunteers.
At the parents’ night performance on Friday,
Aug 7th, we will distribute a volunteer sign-up form to see what your availability might be for assisting us.
This form will ask what times you are available
(10:00 am through 9:00 pm) as well as what type of positions you might assist with (concessions, ticket sales, parking, bleacher
crowd control, etc.)
You can greatly help us with scheduling by indicating
all possible times you can be available as well as all volunteer positions you can fill.
We realize that there are many demands on your time.
However, this is the one day our band program needs as much help as we can find.
